Friday, November 13th

 

Wow! The NaNoWriMo words have jumped a huge amount this week.  We are over 20,000 words. Six of the students have already made it passed their 50% mark, some of them well passed this point.



We have started to learn about Brazil. This is our first South American country that we have studied this year. I love how excited the students are to learn new things.


We have been working on prepositional phrases in Grammar. This is pretty new for us, but we really have it figured out.

We have been working on rockets during STEM / Tech time. Last week we made paper/straw rockets and tested them. We will be discussing the results this week. We will also be starting to work on our second type of rocket.
